I love learning about human behavior and helping other people navigate their mental health. When I am working with youth who feel overwhelmed by not knowing what they want to do for a career, I always assure them I stumbled across psychology as a major not really knowing where that would lead me. From there, my passion grew and I have devoted my career to learning the best strategies to help the brain rewire and learn healthy thoughts. I enjoy using humor for healing and allowing for fun in sessions.
As I have progressed in my career it has taken me in many different directions. I am currently very interested in integrative whole health and working to help individuals incorporate healthy mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and physical health into their daily routine.
My husband and I have five children, three cats, and a dog. Yes, our house is chaotic and also very joyful. I enjoy traveling with my family, playing volleyball, running, and painting. My favorite place to be is on the beach enjoying the relaxation of nature. I also enjoy teaching and supervising in the mental health field and giving back to the community through volunteerism.
I look forward to meeting you and beginning your journey to a healthier and happier self.
